Swinburne Kilsyth Lady Cobras have signed 6”1 forward Alice Kunek for the 2010 SEABL Season. Kunek finished her scholarship with the Australian Institute of Sport (AIS) in December 2009 after playing 29 WNBL Games across three years. She averaged 5.6 points and 2.5 rebounds per game.

A major redevelopment of the Kilsyth Sports Centre has begun, with Sports Minister James Merlino turning the first sod on the project today.

It was a successful start to the 2010 year at the Eltham/Dandenong Tournament for the Phil Munday's Kilsyth Cobras. Kilsyth teams were premiers in six sections and runners up in another three.

Associate Professor Steve Keen from the University of Western Sydney is the author of "Debunking Economics: The Naked Emperor of the Social Sciences" and publishes the online blog "Debtwatch" that is read by 50,000 people.
