The Kilsyth Cobras Representative Program is currently calling for expressions of interest for Head/Assistant Coaching positions of all age groups for Boys and Girls (Under 12-21) for the 2018/19 Victorian Junior Basketball League season.
Expectations of all interested coaches are as follows:
Club Coach Certification (formerly NCAS Level One Coach Certification) for basketball is required for all Head Coach Positions.

Understanding of the Melbourne United Victorian Junior Basketball Leagues 2018 Grading and 2019 Championship Program.
Understanding of the practice program (Sunday and Tuesday or Thursday) for Cobras Representative Teams (Games Fridays plus various tournaments);
Work to the best of their ability within the “Kilsyth Style of Play concepts”;
Assist with the 2018 Cobras “Identification Development” Camps.(Tuesday 11th & 18th September 2018. U12 Girls – Thursday 9th, 16th September 2018).
Attend the Team Tryout Selections (October 2018) for the 2018/19 season;
Agree to attend periodic Coaches meetings, lectures, on court clinics.
Agree to do the PBTR – Child Protection & PBTR – Harassment & Discrimination on the AIS Website: https://www.playbytherules.net.au/online-courses/harassment-and-discrimination-online-course
All Coaches – Obtain a Working With Children Check Card and fill out a MUVJBL Member Protection Declaration and Coaches Conduct form when appointed. Also communicate On Line with WWC that you are a Kilsyth Cobras coach & provide a print out of that communication.
Must have read & understood the Player/Coach/Parent Hand Book 2018/2019
Head Coaches – Complete a Statement by Supplier form and Bank Details form, these forms will be kept on file in the Kilsyth Sports Centre Office.
Expression of Interest forms should be returned by Monday August 13th, 2018.
