After School Basketball is a competition design specifically for local primary schools. There are competitions for year 2 to year 6 students, with different levels of competition available to cater for all abilities. Eg. A grade is the highest, B grade second highest. Many schools such as Yarra Road Primary School enter a significant number of teams and use the program to showcase their school to the local community.
Games are scheduled throughout each weekday afternoon between 4pm-7pm at both the Kilsyth Sports Centre and Lilydale Basketball Stadiums with each game lasting 32 minutes. Different year levels play on different days.
MONDAY – years 4, 5 & 6 boys
TUESDAY – year 3 boys
THURSDAY – year 3, 4, 5 & 6 girls
FRIDAY – Year 2 and 3 boys and girls

If your school does not have after school teams, and you would like to play please contact Kilsyth Basketball. We can help you to set up a team within your school and provide you will all the necessary administration and coaching assistance.
