Cobras point guards Mitch Dielemans and Taylah Black have been named the Big-V VYC Men’s and Women’s Player of the Month for March.
Dielemans led the Cobra Men to a perfect 3-0 month, averaging team-bests of 23.3 points and 3.7 assists per game, while Black led the Women to a 3-1 start, averaging a team leading 20.5 points to go along with 6.5 rebounds per game. The undersized duo continue to defy the odds – and opposing defences – as Dielemans and Black currently rank second in their respective competitions in scoring.
Following road games on Saturday night, the Women and Men are back in action at home on Sunday as they look to build on their combined 6-1 start to the season. The Women take on Bulleen at 12pm, with the Men to follow at 2pm as they square-off against Eltham.
