Kilsyth will go into the match as heavy favourites, with their talented young line up looking for further success in 2008.  SEABL Grand Final MVP Clare Papavs and Sarah Parsons will be looking to launch themselves onto the National stage with quality performances in the ACC.

The Lady Cobras finished the regular SEABL season in 4th place with a 15-9 record and become the first team to win the Championship from 4th after defeating Launceston, Bendigo and Nunawading all on the road.

An even display by all players have made Kilsyth a difficult team to defend in 2008 with teams not knowing who to shut down.

Nth Adelaide received a wildcard through to the ACC after the withdrawal of Sturt from the Central ABA League.  The Rockets finished the year at 13-5 before losing 72-57 in the final.

Leading players for Nth Adelaide include Laureen Mansfield (14ppg), Jo Hill (15ppg, 7.8rpg) and Jenah Piwanski (11.9ppg).

Kilsyth have five players averaging double figures in points and with WNBL star Desiree Glaubitz, local stars Sarah Parsons and Clare Papavs and Import Jessica Lonon the Rockets will have the hands full containing the fast paced-high scoring Lady Cobras.

Tip off is schedule for 7.00pm at the Kilsyth Sports Centre and all Cobras fans are welcome to come along and show their support.  The winner of the ACC quarter final will take part in the final four weekend, Saturday 30th August and Sunday 31st August at the Melbourne Sports and Aquatic Centre for the right to be crowned National Champions.
