RYAN BATHIE – Kilsyth Cobras

With 12pts in the opening quarter Ryan Bathie helped the Cobras establish a 26-17 lead against the Ballarat Miners on Sunday afternoon.  Bathie was having a great shooting afternoon as he continued his scoring spree for the remainder of the match.  Bathie finished the game with a season best 36pts@75%, 7rebs, 1ass and 1stl in 36mins of court time. 

Other notable performances were;

Mt Gambier Pioneers produced a sensational 2-0 road trip in Tasmania, thanks largely to the efforts of Dallas Jeffree.  Dallas averaged 24pts, 5.5rebs and 7ass for the weekend.

Rob Kampman returned to his 2009 season best averaging 27pts, 9rebs and 3ass, helping Frankston end their losing streak with a 1-1 weekend record.  Kampman scored 29pts@56%, 10rebs and 4ass in the leagues biggest upset this season with the Blues defeating Geelong by 10pts.

Ballarat Miners Drake Reed continued his impressive mid season form averaging 25.5pts and 10rebs for the weekend.  .

Vince Inglima recorded 28pts, 7rebs and 3ass in the Rangers come from behind victory against Sandringham on Saturday night.
