Café /Canteen Manager

We are seeking an experienced, passionate, and enthusiastic professional to join our Leadership Team. We want a team player and a goal-oriented Manager (that can lead by example!).
We are seeking to fill the position, Café /Canteen Manager (Full Time).
Kilsyth Basketball is one of Melbourne’s premier Basketball Association, with 4 (four) venues with 3 (three) cafe/canteens. We pride ourselves on our customer service, exemplary venue presentation and professional work environment.
The ideal applicant will have previous experience in a similar role. To be successful in this role you need to demonstrate the following capabilities:
- Confidently handle day-to-day operations of all 3 café / canteens
- Ensure high levels of customer service are delivered
- Lead by example, and effectively delegate
- Excellent communication skills, proactive attitude, demonstration of strong leadership and problem-solving skills
- Train staff in accordance with Kilsyth Basketball policies
- Strong knowledge of food and beverage products
- Knowledge of POS System
- Appoint and Supervise the Hospitality Service, and Customer Service providers and casual staff
- Competently present and manage budgets of the 3 operations
The successful applicant must hold or be willing to obtain the following accreditations:
- Responsible Service of Alcohol
- Food Handlers Certificate
- First Aid Certificate
- Working with Children’s check
