Kilsyth Basketball was established in 1974 to promote and control basketball in the Kilsyth and surrounding districts.  Today Kilsyth Basketball is the largest Basketball Association in Victoria, responsible for over 940 domestic Basketball teams with over 18,000 registered members playing the game of Basketball each week in its venues and competitions.  In 2009 Kilsyth Basketball will financially support a two court extension to the Kilsyth Sports Centre.

Applications are invited from interested, experienced and qualified persons for the newly created position of Community Development Officer (CDO) with Kilsyth Basketball.

The CDO will oversee the quality provision, supervision and operation of development programs and services of Kilsyth Basketball.  This role will play a crucial link between current and potential players and members, facility users, staff and the broader Shire of Yarra Ranges community.
