Both Workforcexs Cobra teams have been impressive in 2009 with the men currently sitting on top of the table at 9-2 while the improving women are 4th at 5-4.

D League women played two games on the road this weekend.  They travelled to Sandringham on Saturday night winning 53-37 with Brittany White (14pts) and Courtney Healy (11pts, 5rbds) leading the way. On Sunday the young Lady Cobras took on the unbeaten Knox Raiders and came away with a 55-49 victory.  Brittany White was again best of court with 16pts and 5 rbds.  Caragh Spicer (11pts) and Jordy O’Shea (10pts) provided the support.

The D League Men played Frankston on Saturday night and held the Blues to just 37 points in the 20 point win.  Brett Seljak (13pts, 8 rbds) and Cameron Johnson (14pts, 5rbds) led the way.

The Kilsyth Workforcexs Cobras are back at home this coming Saturday night 30 May 2009. With the Women taking on Ballarat at 6.15pm while the men play Ballarat at 8.15pm.
