On the 8th of Jan, Sue Dickson, Jess Jones and a few players went to a presentation for the successful clubs at Silvan Rec reserve. The Eagles received confirmation of the grant from the Minister James Merlino.
The specifics of the grant that we applied for were as follows:
Project name: Girls in sport
Project Description: The purchase of warm up jackets with the club logo on them and offer them to all girls who join eastern eagles for the > summer 07-08 and winter 08 seasons.
Aim: To increase the amount of girls playing basketball in our club by offering an incentive to join.
