HAYLEY MOFFATT – Swinburne Kilsyth Lady Cobras
26 year old Hayley Moffatt played 77mins of basketball over the weekend averaging 21pts, 6.5rebs and 1.5ass, guiding her team to a 2-0 weekend. On Saturday night against Ballarat, Moffatt played the entire game and was outstanding at both ends of the floor. Moffatt recorded 18pts@30%, 7rebs and 2ass, but also produced a solid defensive game limiting in form Rush player Kristy Rinaldi to only 8pts. The following day Moffatt produced her second highest scoring game in SEABL with 24pts@47% along with 6rebs, 1ass and 1blk against Launceston.
Other notable performances were;
q Rachel Pryor produced 9pts in the opening quarter to set up the victory for her team against Hobart on Saturday night. Pryor finished the game with 25pts@50%, 2ass, 2stls, 2blks and a SEABL career best 18rebs.
q Chloe Kerr guided the Ballarat Rush to a 1-1 weekend averaging 14pts, 14.5rebs and 4blks.
q Nunawading Spectres Alice Kunek averaged 17.5pts, 5.5rebs, 1ass and 1blk for the weekend, helping the Spectres to a 1-1 result for the round.
