Moore and Mulhall are into their second full season with the Swinburne Cobras after coming through the ranks via the SEABL Development League team under the direction of Rod Popp; their 2010 teammate Glenn Potts is also joining them for a second season with the Swinburne Cobras after spending 2009 in the US at Allan Hancock Junior College.
All three were members of the 2007 Under 20 Kilsyth Cobras Victorian State Championship team. Also re-joining the 2011 team is Bryan Colson; Colson who joined the Swinburne Kilsyth Cobras midway through the 2010 SEABL season adds experience and depth in the backcourt to the 2011 team.
With all teams improving their rosters for the 2011 season the Swinburne Cobras challenge is to remain consistent from tip off until the playoffs, with four re-signings and a now full roster the Club is ready for pre-season training to start back this week.
With the 2011 SEABL season touted to be one of the most competitive on record, Swinburne Cobras Head Coach Grant Wallace is excited about the Season ahead.
“I am very happy with the roster we have put together and the quality of players and people we have assembled. We always aim to put together a competitive team and by re-signing these four players to the Swinburne Cobras roster we continue this tradition”.
“With such a disappointing end to the 2010 season the Club is completely focussed on the 2011 Season with priority number one getting a great start to the year in game one against arch rival Knox”.
The Swinburne Kilsyth Cobra’s 2011 SEABL Season kicks off on the 2 April 2011 against its long-time foe the Knox Raiders.
