The EASTERN SUBURBS ELITE BASKETBALL CAMP is an initiative of five eastern suburbs Basketball Associations (Dandenong, Frankston, Kilsyth, Knox and Sandringham). The camp will allow twelve identified boys and girls from each of the five Associations the opportunity to receive four days of intensive basketball training.
The camp will be directed by Darren Perry – Dandenong, Bill Runchey – Frankston, Rod Popp – Kilsyth, Bruce Palmer – Knox and Dean Kinsman – Sandringham.
Guest speakers will include Lindsay Gaze, Cheryl Chambers and Peter Lonergan as well as many others. Junior Coaches Adam Knott and Daniel Quick will also be attending as development coaches.
The camp also includes referee’s development component and the Kilsyth Referees Association will be sending three young referees yet to be selected.
The 2011 U16 ESEBC will be held at Frankston Stadium January 17- 20.
