The Annual Basketball Victoria 2011 Awards Dinner was held on Tuesday 17 April 2012 at the Kingston Links Golf Club.  The Awards Dinner recognised contributions made to our sport in 2011 and celebrated another successful year for players, coaches, officials, volunteers and Associations across the State.  250+ people were in attendance to enjoy the evening’s speakers and awards. 

Kilsyth and Mountain District Basketball Association won the “Largest Association in Victoria” Award.  Since the Awards program initiated in 1987, Kilsyth Basketball has been named the Largest Association on 14 occasions.  The 2011 Award returns the prized title back to Kilsyth Basketball from Knox who won the Award in 2010.

Accepting the award on Kilsyth’s behalf was Ben Turner, Secretary of the Association.  Kilsyth Basketball President Malcolm Allison commented that “the Award holds pride of place at Kilsyth Basketball and further motivates everyone at Kilsyth to not only be the biggest but be the best!”
