It was a great result for the Swinburne Kilsyth Lady Cobras, who took a win on the road against the Brisbane Lady Spartans. The Swinburne Lady Cobras were well matched in the first half of the game, going into half time only one point up.  However with fire in their belly, and an opportunity to redeem their Round 8 loss, the Lady Cobras came out in the second half to dominate the game and win 84 – 63.

The standout for the game was Olivia Bontempelli scoring an impressive 27 points, including 2 triples and 7 rebounds.

In a disappointing game for the Swinburne Cobras, the Men couldn’t manage to hold off a powerful Brisbane. The Swinburne Cobras started the game well and went into the second quarter 5 points up, but the Spartans dominated the second and third quarters to win the game by 16 points.

Matt O’Hea and Tim Lang stood out in what was a disheartening defeat, with 20 points and 11 rebounds, and 21 points and 6 rebounds respectively.
