ROUND 15 PLAYER OF THE WEEK – SEABL WOMEN

SARAH PARSONS – KILSYTH COBRAS

Returning from the Apple Isle with two big wins against ladder leader Launceston and the improving NW Tasmania Thunder, Kilsyth’s Sarah Parsons is rewarded with her second POTW award with two stellar performances. In the Cobras huge win against the Tornados Sarah had 26 points @ 65%, 9 Rebounds and 6 assists. Backing up the next night against the Thunder Sarah had a massive 17 rebounds to go with her 20 points and 6 assists. The two wins keep the Cobras in touch with a top three finish.

Other notable performances were;

q       Frankston Blues Marita Payne helped the Blues to their 5th win of the season with a 26 point and 14 rebound haul against the Bandits. 

q       Spectre Jenna O’Hea helped herself to 23 points, 7 assists and 5 rebounds in her teams 94 – 57 win over the Bandits.

q       Thunder Emily Fryters 24 point and 12 rebound haul against the Cobras led the Thunder’s scorers but her effort was not enough to get the Thunder over the line.
