MATT O’HEA – Kilsyth Cobras
Averaging 24.5pts, 4.5rebs and 2.5ass for the weekend, Matt O’Hea helped the Kilsyth Cobras to a 2-0 record in the Nations Capital and remains in second place on the Ease Conference ladder. Matt kick started his weekend with 29pts@56%, 4rebs, 4ass and 2stls in the Cobras easy 104-65 victory over Canberra. O’Hea was deadly from behind the three point arc in his 27mins of court time scoring 5 from 7 attempts. The following day Matt played 34mins against the AIS and recorded 20pts@53%, 5rebs and 1ass.
Other notable performances were;
q Sandringham Sabres David Moore produced 24pts@91%, 4rebs, 2ass and 4stls, helping his team to a 97-90 victory over NW Tasmania. Moore is coming back after a season away from basketball and will be a key factor in the Sabres playoff aspirations.
q Nathan Herbert produced a superb game on Saturday night against Bendigo with 23pts@73%, 10rebs, 4ass and 1blk in 37mins of court time. .
q Knox Raiders point guard Sean Carroll recorded 17pts@64%, 8rebs, 5ass and 1stl, helping his team easily defeat Hobart 97-71.
q Dandenong Rangers import Luke Fitzgerald averaged 23pts, 9.5rebs and 1.5ass, helping his team to a 1-1 weekend, including 25pts, 13rebs in his teams 98-82 victory over Hobart.

ALICE KUNEK – Kilsyth Lady Cobras
Alice Kunek produced two consistent games in Tasmania and helped the Lady Cobras record a 2-0 weekend and grab the number 1 position on the ladder. Alice averaged 17pts, 8rebs and 1ass for the weekend and played a pivotal role in the Lady Cobras confidence boosting victory over Launceston on Friday night. Alice recorded 14pts@62%, 5rebs, 2ass and 1stl in 73-70 victory. The following day Alice produced 20pts@58%, 11rebs and 1stl in 27mins of court time in the Lady Cobras 85-51 victory in Hobart.
Other notable performances were;
q Albury/Wodonga Lady Bandits Toni Edmondson played the full 40mins and produced 17pts@50%, 7rebs, 6ass, 2blks and 1stl in her teams 69-48 victory at Frankston.
q With 18pts@50%, 12rebs, 3ass and 2stls from Rachel Pryor the Brisbane Lady Spartans recorded a 75-45 victory over Nunawading.
q Ballarat Lady Miners Rachel Jarry averaged 22pts and 7.5rebs for the weekend including a brilliant 26pt, 8reb, 1ass and 1blk performance on Sunday at Bendigo.
