The Swinburne Cobras (8-5) will be looking to get back on the winners list against their conference rivals this weekend after a disappointing 97-95 overtime loss to Frankston last week.

Kilsyth needs two wins to keep up with, top of the table, Bendigo who hold a two game break over the Cobras.  With Knox, Ballarat and Brisbane all trailing Kilsyth at .500, two wins will allow the Cobras some more breathing space while pressuring the Braves.

Canberra (3-8) and AIS (3-5) have both had an indifferent starts to the Season but will prove solid competition for Kilsyth.  The advantage for the Cobras is their 5-2 away record in 2010.

The Swinburne Lady Cobras travel to Tasmania to take on the top of the table Launceston Tornadoes and their star centre Liz Cambage Friday night before playing Hobart on Saturday.

The 7-2 Kilsyth will be looking to get their second quality win of the season against Launceston to go with a home win over Brisbane.  With Hannah Zavecz now in uniform and Deanna Smith continuing to fire, Kilsyth should be able to match it with the 9-2 Tornadoes.

This will also be the first time former Lady Cobra Sarah Parsons has taken to the floor against Kilsyth.

On Saturday night the Lady Cobras will travel to Hobart and will be looking for a repeat of their early season 60 point thrashing of the League’s newest team.

Both teams will return home on Sunday 30 May 2010 to take on Bendigo (12.30pm) and Geelong (2.30pm).
