The Kilsyth Cobras VYC Men’s team has been announced for the 2021 Big-V season.
The Cobra Men will return 11 players from their 2020 team, led by veterans Brad Heywood, Nick Feller, Hamish MacDonald, Roberto La Morticella, and Tony Marchese. Dyson Sumsion (third season), and Ben Bara and Lachie Vandervorm (second season) also return, while Josh Duach, Eythan House and Tom Ghosn are set to make their VYC debuts in 2021. Tom Carruthers and Liam Croney round out the Cobras roster as development players.
Leading the Cobras is head coach Zach Moult, who makes his VYC debut following a cancelled 2020 season. Former SEABL and VYC Cobra swingman, Adam Knott, and former Vic Metro head coach, Al McAughtry, join Moult on the sidelines as assistant coaches to complete the Men’s coaching lineup for the season ahead.
The Cobras are set to tip-off their 2021 campaign in mid-March, with the league regular season schedule expected to be released in mid-February.
