The girls finished the regular season in 4th position winning the final four games, including a 69-57 win over Dandenong in Round 19. This win secured their top four position for Kilsyth.

Dandenong (18-3) finished the regular season on top but have lost twice to the Workforcexs Lady Cobras in 2010.

Emily Van Poppel (12.1ppg, 5rpg) and Rebekah O’Donnell (12ppg, 7.8rpg) have been the main threats for Kilsyth at the offensive end but their balanced attack and defensive pressure have been keys for the team.

Kilsyth will need their entire team to be at their best to again defeat the Rangers.  Dandenong have a roster of options with seven different players averaging more than 8 points per game. They are the League’s highest scoring team and share the mantle of best defensive team with Kilsyth.

The victor will take on the winner of Knox-Sandringham in the D League Grand Final on 14 August 2010.

Tip off is scheduled for 7.00pm, Saturday 7 August 2010 at Dandenong Basketball Stadium.
