The Workforcexs Cobras fell 12 points short of a 2011 grand-final berth, going down 68-56 to Nunawading on Sunday afternoon.

Kilsyth made the most of their opportunities in the first quarter outscoring Nunawading 14-10. Nunawading came back in the second shooting truly from the foul line to have the game all tied up at 31 apiece going into half time.

The third quarter was unable to separate the two sides with scores tied up at 15 all for the quarter. Unfortunately for the Workforcexs Cobras the last quarter was all Nunawading’s with the Spectres outscoring Kilsyth 22-10 to take the game by 12 points.

Adam Knott top scored for the Workforcexs Cobras with 13 points and 6 rebounds, Daniel Tomada (12pts, 3rbds) and Jayden Walsh (10pts, 7rbds) also made double figures.

It has been a huge year for the Workforcexs Kilsyth Cobras with Daniel Tomada, Zach Taulien and Will Sinclair all of to college in America in the next couple of weeks. Huge congratulations to all the boys on a fantastic effort for the 2011 D-League season.
