The D League section will feature five teams in each of the men’s and women’s competitions. Kilsyth, Knox, Dandenong, Frankston and Brisbane Capitals will take part in the in the round robin competition.

All teams will use the tournament as preparation for the upcoming SEABL D League Season which tips off on 10 April 2010.

The Yarra Ranges Classic has been developed through a partnership between Warrandyte Basketball, Sherbrooke Basketball and Kilsyth Basketball. The Yarra Ranges Classis aims to provide a high quality representative and domestic tournament over the Labour Day long weekend.

The Yarra Ranges Classic will also be the first tournament to use the new Stadium Scoring solution from Sportingpulse, all teams will be able to check their results including basic player stats on the internet following their matches.

All results and news will be posted at www.yarraranges.basketball.net.au over the weekend.

Anyone wishing to catch some games during the tournament can purchase a pass at the door – weekend spectator pass $10 and spectator day pass $5.
