SARAH PARSONS – Kilsyth Cobras

Kilsyth Cobras forward Sarah Parsons recorded her second career triple double on Sunday afternoon, to help the Lady Cobras to an easy 84-54 victory against Frankston.  Parsons won the Australian Youth Player of the Year award last year and has continued her brilliant form this year.  Parsons produced 12 points, 10 rebounds, 12 assists and 3 steals, and held Frankston shard shooter Kylie Reid to only nine points.

Other notable performances were;

Despite Southern Districts losing all three games on the road, Shona O’Bree had a consistent weekend averaging 14pts, 5rebs, 2.7ass and 1stl.

 Nat Hurst produced a triple double 18pts, 14rebs and 11ass to guide the Launceston Tornadoes to a comfortable victory over Albury/Wodonga.

Spectres duo Jenna O’Hea (18pts, 5rebs, 4ass, 2blks) and Zoe Carr (13pts, 12.5rebs, 3ass and 2blks) helped Nunawading to a rewarding 2-0 weekend with a consistent weekend.

NW Tasmania forward/centre Emily Fryters recorded 21pts@55%, 15rebs and 5ass in the Lady Thunders third consecutive victory, helping the team move into sixth position on the ladder with the victory against Albury/Wodonga.
