OVERVIEW

Our Junior Domestic Competition features an array of junior clubs, spanning from Yarra Glen, to Montrose, Croydon North and everywhere in between. Our Junior Domesic Clubs are indepentently operated, with clubs having control over player and team allocation, practice times and venues etc... All Domestic Club enquiries - including new player registrations - are handled by the clubs, with each of our Junior Clubs appointing a primary contact(s) to communicate directly with Kilsyth Basketball.

Senior Domestic

What are the Senior Domestic season dates?

Senior Domestic seasons are split in two: Summer season and Winter season. The Winter season runs during Terms 2 and 3 (including school holidays), while the Summer season runs from Term 4 to Term 1 (games do NOT run over the Christmas/New Years holidays).

Do you offer uniform hire?

Uniform hire (jerseys only) is available at each of our four venues, at a cost of $20 per team set. All players must wear matching shorts; uniform points penalties may apply for non-matching uniforms.

How do I pay for a game?

All of our team sheets are now payable via the TeamPay app. Team sheets must be paid prior to each game. Teams who call in a walkover are still required to cover the cost of their team sheet; additional costs will be incurred for walkovers called within 24 hours of a scheduled game.

Locker Room

What are the locker room opening hours?

The locker rooms trading hours are as follows:

Tuesday 4:30pm – 7:30pm

Wednesday 4pm – 8pm

Friday 5pm – 8pm

Saturday 9am – 3pm

How can I purchase a Junior Domestic or Junior Cobras uniform?

The Locker Room stocks your Junior Cobras and four Junior Domestic clubs uniform needs; SCYC Scorpions, Fosters Phantoms, Mt Evelyn Meteors and Kilsyth Heat. You can come in store to order from the domestic uniforms we stock during trading hours in-season. During our peak season, uniform orders are available via appointment (bookings online).

NBL1

How do I purchase NBL1 tickets?

NBL1 tickets are available for purchase online via Intix and at the door; online orders are strongly recommended in order to guarantee your seat.

How do I become a sponsor or book a Corporate Box?

We offer NBL1 Player Sponsorships, single game and full season Corporate Box packages, and much more! Head to our Partner With Us page for more information on our range of partnership opportunities.

Junior Cobras

When are Tryouts and what is the Tryout process?

Tryouts begin week one of Term 4. All new players are required to register for our ID camps, which run prior to the Term 3 school holidays. Selection from our ID Camps is required in order to progress through to Junior Cobra tryouts.

What are the VJBL season dates?

Grading for the VJBL season typically begins in November, with Phase One running until mid-December. Phase Two begins in late January/early Feburary, and runs until early-mid March. The VJBL season then runs from March through to September.

Do I need to play for a Domestic Club?

In order to represent our Junior Cobra program, all athletes must be registered, and play in a Domestic team within our Kilsyth Basketball competitions, unless an exemption is granted.
