As Basketball Victoria's Inclusive Association of the Year, Kilsyth Basketball continues to set the standard in the elite, development and pathway space for wheelchair hoops, and inclusive basketball as a whole; with programs available for all ages and abilities.

Our weekly Wheelchair Competition and Skills Programs are guided by a number of former Paralympians and highly regarded coaches and metors, offering able bodied and wheeelchair users the opportunity to hone their craft and compete in the elite space.

Our work in the inclusive space saw our very own Wheelchair Competiton continue to grow, as the Cobras convincingly took home the Victoria Wheelchair Basketball League’s inaugural championship.

Walking Basketball is a low impact, social and fun way to improve the levels of physical activity for ages 55 and over, with no basketball experience needed!

The program provides optimal health benefits to all who participate including those who might be intimidated by the pace and impact of a traditional basketball game but love the slower more social version of Walking Basketball.

Our All-Abilities clinics are inclusive events suited for players who are neurodivergent or have intellectual or cognitive disabilities, while our Wheelchair Hoops clinics are open to both wheelchair users and able bodied participants of all skill levels.

Our inclusive skills sessions are led by qualified coaches, fostering an environment that is safe, supportive, and most importantly: fun!

Our next All-Abilities and Wheelchair basketball skill clinics (ages 8-14) run on Thursday January 22.

What are the Senior Domestic season dates?

Senior Domestic seasons are split in two: Summer season and Winter season. The Winter season runs during Terms 2 and 3 (including school holidays), while the Summer season runs from Term 4 to Term 1 (games do NOT run over the Christmas/New Years holidays).

Do you offer uniform hire?

Uniform hire (jerseys only) is available at each of our four venues, at a cost of $20 per team set. All players must wear matching shorts; uniform points penalties may apply for non-matching uniforms.

How do I pay for a game?

All of our team sheets are now payable via the TeamPay app. Team sheets must be paid prior to each game. Teams who call in a walkover are still required to cover the cost of their team sheet; additional costs will be incurred for walkovers called within 24 hours of a scheduled game.
