High-flying Stith set to excite again in 2026

Star forward and team MVP Dillon Stith is back to excite with the Cobras in 2026.

Stith was electric in his first season at Kilsyth, blending his well-known above the rim theatrics with high level perimeter shooting and playmaking off the bounce, and was a key driver in helping the Cobras double their win total from 2024.

The fan favourite did a bit of everything for the Cobras, ranking second on the team in rebounds (7.2rpg), third in scoring (16.4ppg) and fourth in assists (3.0apg), and boosting those numbers across the tail end of the season. Over the final seven regular season games and two playoff appearances, Stith elevated his game on both ends, averaging 20.0 points, 8.6 rebounds and 4.0 assists per game, with his ultra-versatile play adding a new dynamic to the Cobras offence as they finished the regular season on fire to secure a top-three finish.

Despite joining the team after Round 1, and missing time as he captained Australia at the 3X3 World Cup in June, the 33 year old seamlessly integrated himself into the Kilsyth lineup, with his veteran poise and NBL experience providing the Cobras valuable IQ and leadership as they returned to playoff contention. Stith’s 3X3 expertise was pivotal in elevating the Cobras’ offence, with the 6’7 forward able to clean the glass, initiate fast breaks and create off the bounce for others. His all-around brilliance was evident in nine 20-point games and six games with 5 or more assists, with his assist numbers ranking among the best in the league for frontcourt players.

With a full offseason ahead at Kilsyth, the future is incredibly bright for Stith as he aims to build on an outstanding 2025 and propel the Cobras to even greater heights in 2026.
