Cobras battle Braves in Junior Domestic Night Showdown

Your Kilsyth Cobras are set to battle the Bendigo Braves in a special Friday night NBL1 home showdown, and we’re giving all Kilsyth Junior Domestic and After School players (16 and under) FREE ENTRY!

A staple on the NBL1 calendar and one of our biggest game nights of the season, Junior Domestic night is set to excite once again, as your Cobras take on the Braves in a pair of key NBL1 showdowns. The Cobra have shown flashes of potential over the past two weeks, taking two of the league’s top three teams - Raiders and Thunder - to the limit, and will look to close in on a cluster of teams battling for the final two playoff positions.

The Cobra Men enter Friday night in playoff position, and the Braves are right there with them too; making this a key showdown with postseason positioning on the line. An ultra-tight Men’s standings sees just one win separating eight of the top 11 teams, making every game - including Friday night - a must win.

Your Cobras have been battling the league’s best with unrivalled Junior Domestic representation, with an incredible 18 of our NBL1 athletes having played their Junior Domestic and representative basketball at Kilsyth - a number we are proud of and one that surpasses any other association in Victoria, and possibly all of Australia. Rocking your club colours in Friday night is not just about representing your junior team - it’s also a sign of where the majority of our NBL1 athletes began their individual hoops journeys.

All the action tips-off from 6:30pm with the Women, followed by the Men at 8:30pm.

Be there for this must-see hoops showdown on home court, and don’t forget that the week after we go even bigger; it’s Retro Night on Saturday June 14!
