The 2017 SEABL regular season has been released, with the Cobras set to tip-off the new campaign in late March.

Led by first-year Head Coach Justin Schueller, the new-look Cobra Men open their season with a difficult five-game road trip, tipping-off on Friday March 24 against NW Tasmania. With three of their first five games played outside of Victoria, the Cobras will be eager to put on a show in their home opener against the Ballarat Miners on Saturday April 8.

Sam Woosnam and the Lady Cobras will play their first four games on the road, before joining the Men on April 8 for their home opener against the Geelong Supercats. The last time these teams met at Kilsyth was in a Retro Night overtime thriller, where the Lady Cobras claimed one of their league-best 10 home court victories in 2016. Kilsyth will have to wait until June 3 for a SEABL Grand Final rematch, where they will head to Dandenong to take on the Rangers at 5.30pm.

Both the Men and Women will resume their cross-town rivalry with the Nunawading Spectres, set to play-off for the Dick Thomas and Dennis O’Brien Cups at home on Saturday April 22. Although both groups suffer from a brutal road-heavy start to 2017, the Cobras will look to be making late season runs, with five of their final seven games to be played at home.

Special promotional and themed nights for the upcoming season will be announced soon.
