Position Available – NBL1 Men’s Head Coach
Kilsyth Basketball is seeking applications from interested and experienced persons for the NBL1 Men’s Head Coach positionwith the Kilsyth Cobras.
Applicants as a minimum, should hold a Level 2 (Association Coach) coaching accreditation or equivalent experience at elite level basketball and be willing to take ownership and responsible for the development of players within the Kilsyth Cobras Senior Men’s Program.
The successful application will be responsible for:
The planning, development and performance of the NBL1 Kilsyth Men’s program;
Select players in accordance with team structure guidelines established by the Kilsyth Basketball Manager Basketball Operations;
Assist the Manager Basketball Operations and the Cobras Administrator with administrative details and arrangements for team activities, trips and promotions;
Working alongside the Victorian Youth Championship Head Men’s Coach, Junior Boys Coaches and the Manager Basketball Operations to help set an overall direction and pathway for Kilsyth Men’s program and support the development program for Kilsyth Junior players and Coaches.
Applications are now open to enrol in the upcoming Kilsyth Basketball Referee School. The four session Referee School commences on Monday November 11 and concludes on Tuesday November 19. The Under 14 Kilsyth Cobra Boys have claimed silver at the Australian Club Championships, finishing as runners-up in the Shield Division in Ballarat last week. The Cobras fell short in a thriller against McKinnon in the Shield Division final, losing 63-60 on Saturday. The Shield Division features teams playing-off for positions 13 to 24
