Desiree Glaubitz’s likely return from her European contract will add another dimension to the talented Lady Cobras line up.  Clare Papavs (17.4ppg, 3 apg & 7.8rpg) and Sarah Parsons (14.6ppg, 4.7apg & 10.1rpg) have already proved a handful for opposition teams and the versatile Glaubitz will trouble upcoming opponents.

The Lady Cobras go into the return match against Albury after defeating the Bandits 105-68 last weekend on the road.  This will be the third and final meeting between the teams in the first 8 weeks of the 2008 season.  The winless Bandits are improving every week but it will be unlikely they could complete the 37 point turn around from last weeks game.

Following the Lady Cobras game at 6.15pm the Cobras will take on Nunawading at 8.15pm

Jon Croft had his best game of the season so far as he had 24 pts and 9 rebounds in the Cobras loss to Ballarat 113-98 on the road last week.

Joe Werner (21.3ppg & 15.7rpg) and Zach Malvik (24.3ppg) have been outstanding all season despite struggling to adjust to the officiating at both ends of the floor both imports have put up solid numbers.  Their challenge now is to get their team mates more involved and get some more wins on the boards.

Gerard Leonard was unusually quiet last week after shooting the lights out in the previous three games.  His 16.4ppg will be needed if the Cobras are going to worry the Spectres this week.
