The Kilsyth Cobras 2023 NBL1 regular season schedule is here, featuring 14 weeks of non-stop hoops action.
The 2023 NBL1 regular season has been condensed down to just 14 weeks, resulting in an action-packed schedule featuring several firsts for the Cobras. The Cobras 2023 schedule features 11 home games – headlined by six primetime Saturday night showdowns and a pair of special mid-week school holiday specials – tipping-off on Saturday April 1 against the Geelong Supercats.
The two midweek regular season games are a first for the Cobras in the NBL1, (following the success of last year’s Friday night semi final against Bendigo), while the new schedule will also feature a pair of home doubleheader weekends, meaning you can catch the Cobras on home court on back-to-back days.
Highlighting the 2023 schedule are a number of special events:
- Saturday May 20 is Retro Night! Featuring throwback 90’s jerseys, tunes, and best dressed competitions, Retro Night is an absolute must to circle on the calendar.
- Saturday June 24 – Junior Domestic Night: All Kilsyth junior domestic players who rock their club gear receive free entry to this doubleheader showdown against the Ballarat Miners/Rush.
- Sunday July 9 – First Nations Round: First Nations Round will see the Cobras rocking special edition uniforms featuring an Indigenous-inspired artwork design against the Eltham Wildcats in a key late season battle.
- Saturday July 15 – Battle of the Ashes and Home Finale: The latest chapter in Australia’s biggest and longest standing hoops rivalry will be written as your Cobras play host to the Knox Raiders in the Battle of the Ashes.
