Since finishing his junior career with the Cobras, Kendall played college basketball at Metro State University in America and has been a member of the NBL Champion Sydney Kings.  Kendall won a Commonwealth Games Gold Medal with the Boomers in 2006 and will be keen to book his trip to the Olympic Games in Beijing.

Tickets for Game 2 of the 2008 Ramsay Shield between the Australia Post Boomers and the New Zealand Tall Blacks in Melbourne on Saturday 28 June are on sale now.

Game 1 of the annual series will be played in Auckland on Thursday 26 June, with the return leg tipping-off at ‘The Cage’ (State Netball and Hockey Centre) at 5:00pm AET.

The Boomers will be fresh off a three-game ‘Boomers World Challenge’ series against Asian champions and Beijing opponents Iran while the Tall Blacks will use the games to ready themselves for one last tilt at qualifying for Beijing.

Led by Hummer Championship stars Kirk Penney and Pero Cameron, the Tall Blacks will head to Athens in early July in an attempt to claim one of the three remaining Beijing berths.
