Nick Feller has re-signed with the NBL1 Cobras for a second season.

Feller enjoyed a solid rookie NBL1 campaign, providing a spark off the bench for the Cobras with his boundless energy and physicality. The Fosters Phantoms junior offers the Cobras two-way versatility, able to play off the bounce, shoot the three, and hold his own down low and on the perimeter defensively.

“Nick provides depth in our front line; understated in his hard nosed D and ability to crash the boards,” Cobras head coach Pete Godfrey said.

“He’s a versatile forward capable of knocking down the perimeter shot and banging inside the paint.”

A member of a deep Cobras front court rotation, the big-bodied forward showed he is NBL1 ready when extended minutes presented; Feller pulled down a season-high eight rebounds against Knox in Round 5, and followed that up with a season-best 10 points at home against Dandenong in the Cobras next game. Feller also earned the trust of coach Godfrey late in games, earning crunch time minutes on several occasions; the highlight of which was a spectacular late game stretch to lead the Cobras to a win over the rival Knox Raiders in their home opener.
