Match Wrap-Up
Under 14 East Central Premiers! What an achievement! The girls have worked hard all season and only lost one game through the home and away season. Their hard work has reflected their on-court performance and the girls were able to take it all the way and win the grand final! The final was played against Waverley and the final score was 25 – 35. The girls have developed so much not only individually but as a team as well. The MVP award for the grand final game was awarded to Isabelle Gill, which was well deserved. Congratulations girls, Sarah and I are very proud of you!

Match Wrap-Up
After losing their preliminary final by 2 points last week, the boys came to play today determined to leave with a win and the bronze medals. Their record against Eltham 5 was 3 wins from 3 games so the odds were in our favour. However, there’s never a sure thing when it comes to finals! To the boys’ credit, they lead from the start, keeping their opposition scoreless for the first 6 mins or so and remained in control for most of the game bar a few minutes in second half. Their defense was excellent and they chased those lose balls down ferociously. Each of them has made individual progress during this season as well as developing good teamwork. I’m very proud of them all.

Well done for a great season, boys: Mac, Archer, Ryan, Jaime, Jordan, Liam, Declan, Noah, Lachlan & Tom. Congratulations to Tom for his MVP award—it was well deserved

Thank you to Glenn Ghosn, Ass. Coach, Anne Hoare, TM, and all my parents as your assistance, support and encouragement to both the boys and me was immensely important and appreciated.
Ann McCann – Coach

Kilsyth Basketball would also like to offer congratulations to the teams who fell just short of Grand Final success – it is still a huge achievement to make it that far.
