The South East Australian Basketball League has named the Swinburne Lady Cobras’ post player Sarah Parsons as the Player of the Week after her outstanding performances in week 10 of competition.  Sarah Parsons, proudly sponsored by Beats by Dr. Dre, helped the Swinburne Lady Cobras defeat Albury/Wodonga 88-62 with 16 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists on Saturday 26 May and on Sunday 27 May contributed to the 61-52 victory over Bendigo by scoring 15 points and grabbing 18 rebounds and 3 steals.  Read the media release from SEABL about Parsons’ accomplishment below: 

SARAH PARSONS – Kilsyth Lady Cobras

Sarah Parsons averaged 15.5pts, 12.5rebs, 3.5ass and 2stls this weekend to help guide the Kilsyth Lady Cobras to a 2-0 weekend and increase their win streak to seven. Having returned to her junior association this year after two years away from the club, Sarah has been a crucial member in the teams great success this season. Parsons was outstanding in the Lady Cobras 61-52 victory at Bendigo with 15pts, 18rebs and 3stls.
