A trio of Junior Cobras teams have advanced to this weeks Victorian Championship (VC) and VC Reserve Grand Finals.

 

The Under 14-1 Boys and U21 Girls each punched their ticket to the VC Championship game following a pair of thrilling victories, with the Boys downing Geelong, 53-52, while the Girls topped Nunawading, 45-42. The U18-1 Girls advanced to the VC Reserve title game following a dominant 73-52 win over Broadmeadows.

 

The U18-1 Boys, U21 Boys and U16-1 Girls each saw their seasons come to an end on Friday, with the U18 and 21 Boys each falling short in the VC Final Four, while the Girls lost a two-point heartbreaker to Waverley in the VC Reserve Preliminary Finals.

 

The U14-1 Boys tip-off Friday’s Grand Finals at 7.20pm, when they take on Hawthorn, with the U21 Girls to follow against Ringwood at 8.50pm, and the U16-1 Girls against Nunawading 2 at 9.10pm. All three games will be played at Dandenong Basketball Stadium.
