Entering his second season at the helm, Head Coach Mark Landells will be looking to improve on last year’s campaign, which saw the youthful Cobras narrowly miss out on a playoff berth. Despite featuring one of the league’s youngest rosters, Kilsyth finished 2016 as one of the VYC’s most dangerous teams, recovering from a 3-8 start to finish with a 10-12 regular season record.

Headlining this year’s squad is the trio of Jorden Adnam, Jamie Ahale and Mitch Dielemans. Adnam was a member of the All-VYC team in 2015, when he helped lead Kilsyth to the State Championship, while Ahale – the league’s top three-point shooter in 2016 – and Dielemans combined to form an explosive, sharpshooting backcourt in their debut season.

Re-joining the Cobras following a one year hiatus are forwards Zac Wuersching and Harry Frith – with the pair adding valuable championship experience as members of the 2015 team – while Jed Wilson and Matt Dwyer will look to build on their promising rookie campaigns. Rounding out the roster is forward Liam Evans, Under 20’s guards Will MacRae and Jamie Gartner, and Under 18’s forward/centre Roberto La Morticella.
