JOE WERNER – Kilsyth Cobras

Kilsyth Cobras Joe Werner was outstanding on Sunday afternoon as he destroyed the Ballarat Miners with a season best 45 points @ 57%, and also recorded 20 rebounds, 2 assists, 3 steals and blocked 3 shots.  Werner played 44mins and led the Cobras to a much needed 97-80 win.  Werner also recorded 25pts, 9rebs and 3ass in the Cobras disappointing 97-102 loss at Mt Gambier on Friday.

Other notable performances were;

q       With 30pts@50%, 15rebs, 6ass and 2stls Daniel Dillon guided the Sabres to their second victory of the weekend with a 121-106 victory against NW Tasmania.  Dillon averaged 23pts, 10rebs and 4ass for the weekend.

q       Tyson Demos led his team to a 2-1 road record averaging 20.7pts, 6rebs 2.3ass.  The Spartans undefeated status came to an end on Saturday night but Demos was outstanding with 26pts@50%, 7rebs, 1ass and 2stls including a three pointer with a sec to go to put game into overtime.
