What is Adaptive Coaching ?

Adaptive Coaching is about changing or adapting basketball environments & coaching methods to suit the needs of the participants. Adaptive Coaching, isn’t limited to coaching participants with a disability! Adaptive Coaching is part of coaching in ALL aspects of Basketball. Its about including all people to enjoying the game of Basketball.

What is the Adaptive Coaching Workshop ?

As the wider community begin to enjoy Basketball, coaches need to prepare to deal with a greater variety of basketball participants. Adaptive Coaching Workshops are designed to provide coaches some hints and tips as well as best practices on inclusive and adaptive coaching. Areas such as effective communication and awareness are covered.

All coaches regardless of experience and background are encouraged to participate in a workshop! Each workshop lasts for 2 hours and is FREE!
