CLARE PAPAVS – Kilsyth Lady Cobras

Despite playing the entire season with knee soreness, Kilsyth Lady Cobras Clare Papavs has continued her outstanding year earning her second Player of the Week honour, and is a possibility for All SEABL team selection.  Clare kick started an arduous week of basketball with 22pts@67%, 4rebs and 2ass on Wednesday night, helping the Lady Cobras to a rewarding 61-55 victory over the top placed Lady Braves.  Clare had a quiet night against Frankston on Saturday night, but helped the Lady Cobras record a much needed third win for the week with 24pts@60%, 12rebs, 2ass and 1stl against Knox. Clare finished week 18 averaging 18.6pts, 7rebs and 1.7ass

Other notable performances were;

Gabrielle Richards had a solid week averaging 21pts, 13rebs and 2.6ass in the Lady Braves disappointing 1-2 week, that saw them drop to third place on the ladder.

Desiree Glaubitz also performed remarkably for the Kilsyth Lady Cobras, averaging 20.6pts, 5.3rebs and 5ass for the weekend. 

Julie Ofsoski recorded 22pts@50%, 9rebs, 3ass and 1blk in the Frankston Lady Blues 67-98 loss to Kilsyth on Saturday night.
