The Swinburne Lady Cobras (4-1) lost their first game on the season last weekend with a 65-61 loss at Bendigo.

Kilsyth will need to find an additional 20 points for their game against Albury this week with Deanna Smith attending the Australian Opals Camp in Canberra.

Ellie Manou and Alice Kunek will be called on to lift their output at the offensive end as will Hayley Moffatt but this game will likely be decide at the defensive end with the key match ups of Walbutton and Edmondson.

Both players hurt the Swinburne Lady Cobras in 2009 when Albury knocked Kilsyth out of a finals spot.

To get back in the winners circle Kilsyth will need a big impact off the bench from Jordy O’Shea, Erica McMenamin and Gemma Kerr who should all be able to deliver and keep the Swinburne Cobras on top of the table.

The Swinburne Kilsyth Lady Cobras will return home on Saturday 1 May 2010 to take on the Sandringham Sabres at 6.15pm.

The Swinburne Cobras also find themselves on the road in Albury this weekend and after splitting last weekend’s games will be looking at winning their second game over the Bandits in 2010.

Fernandez Lockett (18.3ppg, 10.1rpg) continues to star for the Swinburne Cobras and will be excited about returning to Albury where he played in 2009.  His high flying dunks have become popular with the local Kilsyth fans and he will surely bring much of the same to Albury on Saturday night.

Kilsyth defeated Albury 76-47 in Round 2 of the SEABL and will be keen to record a similar victory and continue to hold a gap against their rivals on top of the East Conference table.

Albury will rely on imports Ryan Bright and Travis Gabbidon as well as Nick Payne against Kilsyth who will all be looking for an improved performance after losing to Canberra last week.

Kilsyth will return home on Saturday 1 May 2010 for DJ Taylors 400th SEABL Game as the Swinburne Cobras take on Sandringham at 8.15pm.  Get down to the Kilsyth Sports Centre and help DJ become just the second player in League history to achieve this milestone.
