Following a successful opening week of domestic basketball, we are pleased to announce that we will be reducing all team sheet fees by $5, effective Sunday December 6, 2020.
Currently our team sheet fees have increased due to a number of factors to keep our competitions in compliance with current COVID-19 restrictions. This increase will remain in place until Victoria’s Chief Health Officer and the Department of Health and Human Services Victoria eases COVID-19 restrictions.
These levies cover the additional costs for:
Disinfecting and sanitising Kilsyth & Lilydale Stadiums (additional to standard cleaning)
Additional court rental costs – moving to 60 mins time slots for very game
Increase Referee costs – 60 minute games
Sanitising of equipment before and after games (bench, computer, basketballs etc…)
Hand sanitisers for public use
Biosafety Officers at each stadium
Social Distancing compliance
After reviewing our reopening week, we have made some changes to our COVID-19 safety protocols whilst still complying with DHHS and Basketball Victoria requirements. Included in these changes is a reduction in team sheet fees, and as such, all teams sheet fees have been reduced by $5 effective Sunday 6th December 2020.
We hope you all enjoy a safe return to our competitions!
