Backing up in their second game of the weekend, the Lady Cobras got 13 pts from Gemma Kerr and 10 pts from Hayley Moffatt but with Sarah Parsons missing the Lady Cobras were unable to match the inside play of Caitlin Cunningham (22pts, 7 rbds) and Zoe Carr (17pts, 8 rbds)

After trailing by 12 at quarter time the Lady Cobras stayed with the Spectres for the majority of the game before getting down by as much as 28 at one stage but fought back to win the last quarter and go down by 20.

Coach Jason Knight will be giving his players some intense injury rehab during the week as they prepare to fly to Brisbane and take on Southern Districts.  The Lady Cobras will look to move to 5-3 with a win over their northern rivals.
