Drake University will also take on Frankston on Tuesday night before heading up to Sydney; the exhibition match is a great opportunity for some of the younger Swinburne Cobras to test themselves against an American college line-up.

The Drake Bulldogs Head Coach Mark Phelps had this to say in regards to their trip down under "Because of our foreign tour we’re going to have 10 days of practice in the summer, and then go to Australia and New Zealand to play four games against professional teams. Just being together on the trip, in an organized manner and drawing closer as a team is something else I’m really excited about as I look ahead to next season. It can’t get here soon enough for us."

With the Swinburne Cobras gearing up for play-offs in just over two weeks’ time, the game represents a great opportunity to try a few things out. Kilsyth will suit up for their last home game this Saturday night, August 13 against the Canberra Gunners before their last game of the regular SEABL season next Friday night August 19 against the Mt Gambier Pioneers.

Tip-off for the Monday August 15 game is at 7:30pm on Hugh McMenamin court, entry is just $2, so get down to Kilsyth Sports centre and start your week with a great night of Basketball.
