The Lady Cobras have bolstered their front court with the addition of forward/centre Hope Terdich for the 2018 SEABL season.

Terdich gives the already impressive Lady Cobras frontcourt some added depth, possessing the ability to play both the power forward and centre positions. A member of the Dandenong Rangers WNBL championship-winning team in 2012, Terdich also helped lead the Rangers to three consecutive SEABL championships between 2010 and 2012. She most recently played in the SEABL with Sandringham during the 2013 season, when she was a teammate of Lady Cobras coach Sam Woosnam.

Woosnam is excited to have Terdich on board for the season ahead, with her speed and length set to serve as a solid compliment to reigning league MVP Angela Beadle.

“Hope is mobile, fast and can score with her back to the basket as well as face defenders up and attack off the dribble,” Woosnam said.

“She will add an exciting dynamic to the group and also allows us to give Angela some much needed breaks at times. We are really looking forward to seeing what Hope brings to the team; she’s the type of player that you hate to play against but love to play with.”

Terdich rounds out a deep and talented Kilsyth frontcourt, joining veterans Sarah Parsons and Rosie Moult, plus imports Beadle and Jasmine Gill. With Terdich, Parsons and Moult all boasting WNBL and international experience, and Beadle and Gill earning all-SEABL honours in 2017 and 2016, respectively, the Lady Cobras front line promises to be one of the league’s most lethal units on both ends of the floor in 2018.
